New Brickton Fire was alerted for an Unknown Type Fire behind 524 Philadelphia. While units were responding dispatch started to receive multiple calls for a house on fire in the 500th block of Philadelphia, and upgraded the box. Tower 6 and Engine 17 arrived and corrected the address of 524 Rear Philadelphia and reported a 2-sty wood frame structure, fire show side C and D with exposure problems. Crews iniciated a interior attack while Tower 6 opened the roof. Battalion 2 arrived and assumed command and requested a 2nd alarm. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control with-in 20 minutes and cleared within 2 hrs. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, the fire did damage 3 other structures, and is under investigation by the New Brickton Fire Marshal.

New Brickton Fire Fighters were alerted around 11 o'clock for the report of a structure fire with people trapped at 1401 1st Avenue in Downtown New Brickton. Squad Engine 1 was the first arriving unit and reported, fire and smoke showing, side A from division 3, from a 4sty fire resistive building. Battalion 1 arrived and established command, other arriving companies were sent to assist occupants, open up the structure, and assist in fire attack operations. A 2nd alarm was requested bring additional firefighters to the scene to assist in overhaul operations. Fire Companies were being released around 14:00 hrs, with 1st alarm companies remaining on scene.

Firefighters from Batttalion 3 were alerted for a possible structure fire at 450 Steel Street. Squad Engine 16 was the first to arrive, establish command, and reported fire and smoke from division two, on side alpha. Squad 16 secured a water supply and initiated an interior attack and primary search. Battalion 3 arrived and assumed command and reported one line in operation. Shortly there after Command reported the fire knocked down, and held the incident to Squad Engine 16, Ladder 3, and Engine 13. Ladder 3 and Engine 13 assisted in overhaul, firefighters cleared with-in 1 hour. The fire is believe to be electrical in origin, no firefighters or civilians were injured.

Firefighters were alerted at approx 17:00 hrs for the report of a dumpster on fire next to a building in the 900th block of Western Avenue. Engine 5 arrived on scene at 904 Western Ave, established command, and reported a working dumpster fire with extention into the building. Battalion 3 arrived and assumed command from Engine 5. Fire Crews reported minimal extention into the building and began PPV. Battalion 3 scalled back the incident to Engines 5 and 8, Ladder 4, Squad 16, and Rescue 1. Shortly there after Squad 16 was relieved from their RIT duties and placed back in service. Battalion 3 placed all units back in service around 18:30 hrs. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported, the fire is under investigation.

New Brickton Firefighters from Engine 11 and Squad 16 were alerted around 1300hrs for a MVA with entrapment in the 2400th block of Franklin Rd. Engine 11 arrived confirmed the entrapment and pulled a hand line for protection. Squad 16 arrived began extrication and assisted EMS in patient removal. Extrication was completed in less than 10 mins and firefighters were able to return to service.

Firefighters from Battalion 2 were dispatched Sunday Morning for a report of a structure fire with entrapment at 2300 Overlook Drive, South Heighs. Engine 17 and Tower 6 arrived and confirmed the entrapment of two occupants. Crews mounted an agressive interor attack and began a search. Tower 6 found an occupant on the second floor and brought him down the interior steps to side alpha to awaiting EMS Crews. Squad 4 located a female on the second floor as well and brought her out in the same fashion. Both were transported to New Brickton Regional Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.
The fire is still under investigation but four college students lived in the home together where they attended New Brickton State University, it is believe that the blaze was started by a space heater, two other students excaped the blaze with only minor injuries. Fire crews were back in service around 10AM. No firefighter injuries were reported.

Firefighters from the Second Battalion were alerted around noon on Christmas Day for a house on fire at 1504 South Heights Avenue. Firefighters from Engine 17 arrived on scene and reported a split entry home, with fire showing from the basement on side A. Crews stretched handlines and were able to bring the fire under control with in 30 mins but remained on scene for another 1 1/2 hours for overhaul. The fire is believed to have been started by faulty Christmas decorations. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the family.

New Brickton Firefighters from the 3rd Battalion were alerted today around Noon. Engine 5 was the first unit on scene and reported heavy fire showing on side alpha. Firefighters placed a line into operation while Ladder 4 began to preform searches and vent the structure. Other arriving units placed additional lines into operation and preformed secondary searches. Fire crews were finally able to place the fire under control around the 30 min mark and cleared around 1400 hrs. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.

Mischief Night in New Brickton kept firefighters very busy. New Brickton Fire responded to a total of 3 structure fires, 1 garage fire, 1 car fire, and a grass fire that turned into a car fire with two people seriously burned. Both were flown by Medivac 14 out of Hubrick. Mutual aid responded for station coverage from all over the eastern portion of the region. Fire Departments in the entire area were stretched thin due to other incidnets in North Lereado County and Hubrick. All mutual aid companies were back in service just before 23:00 hrs and all fires are under investigation by the New Brickton Fire Investigator.

New Brickton Firefighters from the 3rd Battalion were dispatched to 3450 Park Avenue for the report of a car on fire next to a building. Battalion 3 arrived and reported a fully involved car fire next to the structure with possible extention to the sturcture. Engine 10 secured a water supply and began to extinguish the car fire while Engine 11 pulled an attack line into the structure, a crew from Ladder 3 vented the roof and also gained access to the structure for search and recon the fire. Other arriving crews streched additional hand lines, completed searches, and laddered the building. Firefighters were able to clear the scene near the one hour mark. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, and the fire is under investigation.

New Brickton Firefighters battled a fast moving fire in the North East section of New Brickton. Fire Crews arrived on scene to find heavy fire showing on side alpha with expoure problems on side bravo and delta. Firefighters began to battle the blaze as it extended into both exposure structures. After a feverous fire fight crews were able to bring the fire under control at the half hour mark. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported.

NBFD Firefighters from the 1st Battalion were dipatched for an unknown type fire in Engine 2's first due. Fire crews leaving their stations could see a large glow in the sky as calls began to flood Fire Dispatch reporting a building on fire in the 300th block of Bank Street. Battalion 1 arrived on scene and reported a large warehouse approximatley 60x100 with heavy fire showing from all sides and the roof. A defenesive attack was quickly mounted as Battalion 1 requested a Second Alarm with an additional request for Tower Ladder 2. Firefighters battled the blaze into early Saturday Morning when the blaze was finally placed under control. Firefighters spent most of Saturday Morning and into the afternoon dousing hot spots and assisting in investigation. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.

New Brickton Firefighters from the 2nd Battalion were alerted for the report of a trailer on fire in the area of 23 Vermont Court. Upon arrival firefighters from Squad 4 found heavy fire showing from 28 Vermont Court and gave the correct adderss and the report of possible entrapment. Fire crews began an aggressive interior attack and primary search. Other arriving companies were assigned to pulling back up lines, venting the stucture, and preforming secondary searches. All searches proved negative and firefighters cleared with in 1 1/2 hours after the initial call.

New Brickton Firefighters were alerted Saturday Morning for a commercial fire alarm at the New Brickton Regional Medical Center. Further information was provided and dispatch reported a fire in the laundry room. Battalion 3 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the dock area and assigned a crew from Ladder 3 to locate the source. Upon investigaion Ladder 3 located a small fire in a dryer and extinguished the blaze with a water can. Battalion 3 held Engine 10 and Ladder 3 until venthalation was complete. Fire crews cleared with-in 15 mins.

New Brickton Firefighters were dispatched back to 20 Project Road today for the report of the building on fire. Upon arrival of Battalion 3 he reported heavy fire and smoke showing from side Alpha, division II. Firefighters stretched handlines, began searches, and cutting the roof. Battalion 3 requested that the Working Fire Dispatched be filled bring Engine 11, Ladder 4, Rescue 1, and the Tour Commander to the scene. Firefighters on the roof encountered heavy fire conditions once the roof was vented and radioed command. The Tour Commander assumed command right after this report and put crews from the working fire dispatch to working opening up the cockloft and stopping the spread of fire. One civilian was injured, and firefighters were able to control the blaze with-in 20 mins but remained on scene for approx two hrs. The fire is under investigation.

Firefighters from the 3rd Battalion were alerted in the early afternoon hours for an apartment building full of smoke at 20 Project Road, Central, New Brickton. Battalion 3 arrived, assumed command, and reported a 2 story garden style apartment building with smoke showing. Upon the arrival of Ladder 3, they were directed to find the fire and preform searches. Engine 10 arrived and stretched an attack line. Fire crews located a couch on fire inside a 1st floor apartment and extinguished the fire. All searched were negative and firefighters cleared with-in 20 mins of the initial alarm.

New Brickton Firefighters were alerted around 10:00AM on Tuesday Morning for a possible structure fire at 102 Falls Avenue, Southeast. Squad Engine 1 arrived on scene and reported fire and smoke from the third floor of a three-story brick mixed occupancy building. Firefighters stretched a 2 1/2 inch line with gated Y the the third floor and began fire attack operations. Other crews on scene began searches and venting the structure. Battalion 1 established Falls Avenue command and requested a working fire dispatch which brought an additional engine, ladder, Rescue 1, and the Tour Commander. Fire crews battled the fast moving fire as it moved into the cockloft, other crews were put into service an were able to stop the blaze. Two firefighters were injured with minor burns, no civilian injuries were reported. Firefighters cleared approx. 2 1/2 hours later, the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters from Engine 3 arrived to find a two story wood frame SFD, with fire showing on side A and D with exposure problems on side D. Fire crews quickly began to attack the fire, preform searches, and vent the structures. The fire was controled with in 15 mins and crews cleared with two hours. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The fire is believed to been started by children playing with fire in the house.

New Brickton Firefighters were dispatched to the 600th block of Glenwood Avenue, South Central at approximately 10:00AM. Fire Crews from Engine 5 and Ladder 4 arrived to find heavy smoke and flames showing from the roof of a Pizzeria with attached row houses. Moments later Battalion 3 arrived on scene, took command, and requested a Working Fire Dispatch for the fire. Other first alarm crews arriving stretched additional hand lines to the fire building and began to check the set of row houses for extension. Upon the arrival of Battalion 2 he radioed Battalion 3 of the condition of the row houses on Park Street, and reported smoke from the common cockloft area. Firefighters were directed to the roof where they encountered heavy fire. Firefighters working in two of the row houses were able to stop the fire before it extended any further. Both the pizza business and two row houses received heavy fire, smoke, and water damage. The other structures received minor smoke damage. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation by the New Brickton Fire Investigator.
